We are committed to providing for the healthcare needs of our patients.
For now appointments cannot be booked online, but we hope to resume online booking in the near future.
We have also changed our appointment procedures and taken other safety measures to provide a safe clinic appointment. These include;
Patients will be required to screen negative prior to scheduling an appointment and again the day before the appointment. The email reminder that all patients will receive the day prior to an appointment will contain your COVID-19 screening questions. Please email us back to confirm that you have answered "NO to all questions" the day prior to your appointment. If you do not have an email address then we will help you complete your screening through other means, such as telephone. You can also complete your screening online using the following COVID-19 assessment tool and notify us of the results by phone or text.
Patients will be screened again at the clinic on the day of your appointment.
Glass reception barriers have been constructed to provide for physical distancing and will remain in place.
Magazines, children’s toys, and other items that are difficult to disinfect will be removed from waiting areas.
The number of patients at any given time in the practice will be limited.
Common areas including restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn by all clinical staff.
Treatment rooms will be completely cleaned before patients are seated - extra time will be scheduled in-between appointments to allow for the thorough cleaning and disinfection of treatment rooms and equipment.
During treatment, our team will strictly follow guidelines set by Public Health, the CCO, the CKO and the CMTO.
We are modifying our clinic forms to make them all fillable and savable to minimize the use and contact with paper.
Scheduled appointments dates and times are being provided by email or text.
Receipts and statements will be emailed wherever possible.
We have created and implemented our COVID-19 Safety Plan.
In addition to the procedures above, we have prepared a (COVID-19 Patient Visit Guide) providing additional details that can be viewed prior to your appointment that outline the new Patient visit protocols and procedures to be followed for all in-office appointments.
The safety of our patients is our top priority, and our entire clinical team is committed to ensuring your safety and comfort in receiving care from our office. If you have any questions or concerns related to your care after reviewing this information, please contact us directly. Sincerely, The Kingston West Family Chiropractic Team
